Let\u2019s take a look at what actually happened and find out if DIS was successfully promoting their merchandise. In 1941 Director Henckel was in Belgrade to negotiate a deal for 100 machine cannons and 200 lmg. At the same time engineer E. S\u00e6tter-Lassen demonstrated Madsen for the air force in Zemun and for the marine in Boka Kotorska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately for DIS the world history hindered this deal. 22 March Germany presented Yugoslavia with a of ultimatum, this put a stop to the deal with DIS \u2013 the larger implications of the Yugoslavia \u2013 German relationship is not discussed further but Yugoslavia split into several fractions and one of them continued as Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"693\" height=\"625\" src=\"https:\/\/madsenbyhansen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mosede-fort_Krak_1954.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-151\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madsenbyhansen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mosede-fort_Krak_1954.jpg 693w, https:\/\/madsenbyhansen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mosede-fort_Krak_1954-300x271.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 693px) 100vw, 693px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mosede Fort 1954. In Helsingfors director Henckel met a Croatian comission with colonel Mijo Seletkovi\u0107, lieutenant Romnaldo Mandl, lieutenant Mihovil Saric and Eugen Kuborczy. They were interested in 20 mm machine cannon and 7,92 lmg. In September the comission was in Denmark and Madsen was demonstrated at the shooting range at Mosede Fort (picture above).
